Well, what if your schedule is constantly hectic and you don't want to wait for your next day off to visit your dentist. There are great at-home methods for teeth whitening, such as:

A Bleach and Lemon Solution:

By using the combination of bleach and lemon, you will be able to create a very efficient teeth whitening paste. By placing both bleach and lemon juice into a bowl, make sure you use enough of both items to create a thick paste. Once your paste has been created, place it onto your toothpaste and brush your teeth with it for about one minute. Due to the reaction of this cleaning method, the bleach and lemon will help lift plaque, bacteria, and stains off from your teeth, which will enhance the overall appearance of your teeth.

Rinsing With Coconut Oil:

If you want a method that is easy and doesn't involve you having to create your own paste then you may like the teeth whitening solution of using coconut oil. Using about a teaspoon of coconut oil and swishing it around in your mouth is a great method. By moving the coconut oil around in your mouth, you will move the oil through your teeth, which will help kill and remove bacteria, plaque, and yellow stains. When using this method, you will want to swish the teaspoon of coconut oil for about 15 minutes.

Brushing with Baking Soda:

Using baking soda rather than your normal toothpaste can actually show fantastic results when attempting to remove surface stains. By brushing with baking soda, you will be able to penetrate the surface of your tooth enamel, which will help remove and eliminate stains on the surface of your teeth. This is a great method and will show great results, just be sure to consult with your dentist before implementing this option.

With these three at-home teeth whitening methods, not only will you be able to practice better hygiene, but you will impress your dentist when you do have time to schedule your next appoint. Coping With Dental Emergencies

My son was outside playing with some friends when he accidentally fell down and hit his mouth on the sidewalk. The fall knocked out his front tooth, so I immediately placed the tooth in a small jar and added some milk. I rushed my son to the dental clinic and the dentist immediately took us into the examination room. The dentist placed the tooth back into the socket and saved it. My name is Beverly Tillman and thanks to the quick work of the dentist, my son didn't lose his tooth. Since this was a scary time for me and my son, I wanted to write this blog as a source of information for other parents who are facing a dental emergency. First of all, don't panic and get to your dentist as soon as possible. I hope this blog will help to answer your questions about dental emergencies.
